Error code 0040-0002-0X69
In the middle of printing the printer will print out a blink sheet and throw this code. 0040-0002-0X69. Where the X is at will change from 6 to 8 to3 to 2 and so forth. Has any body else have a pagewide that has done this and could help? I know it can not be every printhead pca board is bad

OK, I'm just taking a WAG here...
If you haven't already done these it couldn't hurt
Bring the print bar to the top
Reseat all the print head connections. If you're really feeling ambitious pop the covers off the print heads and reseat the pca connectors under there
Reseat the data distribution pca connectors
Reseat the print bar hub pca connectors
When you see that many errors changing around it's probably just a flakely connection. This doesn't rule out a pca going bad but it's a place to start

Have done all except the distribution board. That was my next to try. After that will be the data cable. Sorry, didn't get into what I had already been though. I see I'm on the right track though.

I've had the data connector become unseated on one of our 8000's, maybe you're there. I can tell you that the cable from data distribution to the ebox is a major PIA

There are a few things on this printer that are a PIA. Why should this be any different. Still better printer then KIP

Should have posted this a little while back. Found out what it was. CZ309-67072
PEM cable loop. Replaced it and have not seen the code since.

It was interesting to say the least. Tried a lot of other parts 1st. Everything would work good for about 2 to 3 days and then go back to doing it again. This has gone for a few weeks now with no 0040 error code.
