we have a pagewide xl8000. machine will not start. error code 0045-0009-0053. cannot find any information on it. has anyone had this problem? thank you
That error is related to the Central Distribution PCA to Bottom Mechatronics PCA – Connector/cable issue.
Look at the cable going from The board Marbella to the Merlin
Marbella can be found bellow the paper output to the right. It has a ton of wires coming out of the right of the board. "Marbella" is Printed on the circuit board somewhere. Check to make sure all the wires are seated properly before starting the machine.
"Merlin" ( also printed on the circuit board ) Check Bellow the Service Carriage door behind that panel. Make sure all the wires are connected.
The Part Numbers are printed on the circuit boards. Marbella will need a special procedure for replacement. So do not damage via static shock. Make sure to ground your skin before messing with the boards, all power has been turned off, and residue voltage is drained from the machine.
