Getting Accounting Files

With the KIP machines, I was able to automate downloading the accounting files from the KIP, I am wondering if there is anyway to access the accounting files that are obviously saved somewhere on the HP?

I know I can always manually download them or have them emailed to me every so many days, but I would prefer to be able to get them on demand using software that I have written, which can use FTP as well as several other methods.
